Baptism is a next step in faith that signifies a person’s commitment to follow Jesus. It’s a public declaration of a transformed life – a celebration of being made new in Christ.

We believe baptism is an important part of the journey of faith, symbolising the washing away of sin and the beginning of new life empowered by the Holy Spirit.

We baptise those who personally confess faith in Jesus, as well as children who are presented for baptism, with the commitment of their families and the church to nurture them in faith.

Why Get Baptised?

Baptism is a profound act of obedience and faith. Jesus himself was baptised and calls His followers to do the same as a way to publicly proclaim their faith. It’s a chance to share your faith journey and invite others to witness the transformative work of God in your life.

“We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” – Romans 6:4
